英创教育「早鸟早读」计划第【3089】天明早8:30不见不散!??
Topic 1: Meeting New FriendsQuestion: Do you like making friends?Answer: Yeah, I think so. I mean, I think everyone likes making friends. It"s easier for some people than it is for other people. I"m fairly introverted, so I"m not great at making new friends. But when I do meet someone that, you know, I have a lot in common with, yeah, I definitely enjoy making friends with them.Question: Did you make a lot of friends when you were a child?Answer: Yeah, I did actually. Every time I changed schools. In the UK, we go to primary school, and when I started at primary school, I made a lot of friends. Then, we changed to a totally different secondary school, and I did again make a lot of friends. When I changed to secondary school after I was about twelve, I didn"t make too many new friends because everybody was settled in their group of friends. But certainly at those times when there was a big change, I did make friends.Question: Have you made any new friends recently?Answer: I have actually. It"s a lot harder when you get older because most people are really kind of involved in their lives. They might have children, they"ve got their families, and so they"re not looking to make new friends. But I made a friend called Dave, and I met him because my wife knows his wife. We were introduced and yeah, we hit it off, we get on very well, and we see each other maybe like once every two weeks. So it"s very nice.Question: What do you often talk about with your new friends?Answer: It depends, really. Me and Dave both run our own companies, so we tend to talk about different kinds of business things, but also we have some shared interests, like we"re both interested in music. So sometimes we talk about that, we talk about TV shows, movies, plans, activities, all kinds of things really—just kind of whatever comes up in the conversation. And usually, when we meet, the conversation flows pretty well.编辑:Moon▼IDE英创教育
