Over the past few months, MIS teachers and students have achieved remarkable results in various fields, including academics, competitions, safety, mental health, college admissions, parent-school cooperation, activities, and public welfare. From academic exploration to competitive efforts, from safety drills to psychological care, from college counseling to campus events, from charity actions to artistic expressions, every step has been firm and every moment worth remembering.01#IB InquirysEnlightening Wisdom in a Multicultural World

The IB curriculum leads students to explore global cultures and histories. This semester, around three major themes—“Who We Are”, “Where We Are in Place and Time”, and “How We Express Ourselves”—students engaged in interdisciplinary learning and field investigations. They visited museums, universities, and local streets to delve deeper into the knowledge, and presented their findings through posters, presentations, and videos. Additionally, 30 club courses catered to students’ individualized interests.02#Academic HonorsOutstanding Performances on the Competition StageMIS students have excelled in academic competitions.In the 2024 “Zhongheng Cup” Mandarin Debate Tournament, MIS Team 1 and Team 2 won the national runner-up and third place, with several students receiving Best Debater awards.

In mathematics competitions, 24 students won prizes, including national first prizes and selections for training camps.

Furthermore, 14 students advanced to the Quarter-Finals in the Spelling Bee.

03#Safety EducationStrengthening the Campus Safety DefenseSafety education is a priority at MIS. This semester, through anti-terrorism and anti-violence drills, fire evacuation exercises, earthquake emergency drills, and lectures on health, legal knowledge, and food safety, the school has comprehensively enhanced the safety awareness and emergency response abilities of both teachers and students, creating a secure learning environment for the students.04#Physical and Mental HealthHolistic Attention to Student DevelopmentPhysical and mental health is a core goal at MIS. Physically, the school conducted vision screenings and fitness assessments. Mentally, the school offered psychological health courses tailored to different age groups, focusing on emotional regulation and stress management. At the same time, special lectures on preventing internet addiction helped ensure the overall well-being of students.05# College GuidancePaving the Way for Students’ FutureMIS College Guidance Center customized pathways for students’ higher education. During guidance sessions, teachers provided insights into the college admissions system and helped students plan their academic direction according to their individual needs. One-on-one parent-teacher meetings assisted in achieving students’ goals, while international university admissions officers were invited to share information, and the Teachers Conference was held to improve the admissions service.06#Parent-School CooperationWorking Together to Promote Student Growth

Parent-school cooperation is a key component of the MIS educational approach. This semester, through MIS-PTO meetings and regular communications, the school engaged in deep discussions with parents about students’ progress. In parent-child activities and public welfare projects, parents and students participated together, fostering a sense of responsibility. The recommended winter book list will promote shared reading between parents and children, creating a positive atmosphere.07#Exciting ActivitiesThe Diverse Charms of Campus Life

The House Center and the Student Government organized a variety of activities. The Mid-Autumn Festival Business Planning, House Sports Meet, Halloween Multicultural Experience, and Winter Concert sparked students’ creative thinking and enhanced teamwork. Club activities such as sports leagues, birthday parties, and international food festivals contributed to a campus culture of unity and friendship, making every student feel a sense of belonging and happiness.Students were invited to perform the musical “Matilda”, showcasing their well-rounded talents.

08#Public Welfare ActionsGiving Back to Society with Love

Public welfare actions have always been an important way for MIS students to contribute to society. During Thanksgiving, students donated money and goods to the Stray Animal Protection Center and volunteered in animal care during their free time. The Winter Concert and Charity Bazaar sent care and support to the Children’s Center of Sichuan Cancer Hospital, showcasing the students’ sense of social responsibility.In 2024, we embraced diverse exploration and achieved comprehensive development, reaping rich growth and progress. 1月17日，2024-2025学年秋季学期散学典礼圆满落幕。过去几个月，MIS师生在学术、竞技、安全、心理、升学、家校合作、活动和公益等多领域取得显著成就。从学术钻研到赛场拼搏，从安全演习到心理关怀，从升学指导到校园活动，从公益行动到艺术绽放，每一步都坚实有力，每一刻都值得回味。01#IB课程探究多元文化中的智慧启迪

IB课程引领学生在世界文化和历史中探索。本学期，围绕“我们是谁”“我们身处什么时空”“我们如何表达自己”三大主题，学生们通过跨学科学习、实地考察等方式，从博物馆、高校到街头巷尾，深入探究知识内涵，并以墙报、陈述、视频等形式展示成果。同时，30门俱乐部课程满足了学生个性化兴趣发展需求。02#学术荣誉竞赛舞台上的卓越表现在学术竞赛中，MIS学生屡获佳绩。2024“纵横杯”中文辩论赛中，MIS一队、二队分获全国亚军、季军，多名学生获*佳辩手称号。

数学竞赛中，24名学生全部获奖，*涵盖全国一等奖及入选集训营。

此外，国际英文拼词大会14名学生成功晋级城市复选赛。

03#安全教育筑牢校园安全防线安全教育是MIS的重要课题。本学期，通过反恐防暴、火灾疏散、地震应急等演习，以及生理卫生、法律常识、食品安全等讲座，学校全方位锤炼了师生的安全意识与应急能力，为学生营造了安全的学习环境。04#身心健康全方位关注学生发展身心健康是MIS的核心目标。生理上，学校开展视力筛查和身体素质评估；心理上，针对不同年龄段学生开设心理健康课程，关注情绪管理和压力应对。同时，专题讲座普及网络成瘾预防，全方位保障学生身心健康。05#升学规划为学生未来铺就坦途MIS升学规划中心为学生量身定制升学路径。指导会上，老师解读升学体系，结合学生实际情况规划方向。家长与老师一对一交流，助力学生实现目标。同时，邀请国际高校招生官分享信息，承办教师交流会，优化升学服务。06#家校合作携手共促学生成长

家校合作是MIS教育的重要组成部分。本学期，通过MIS-PTO会议、定期沟通等方式，学校与家长深度交流学生情况。在亲子活动、公益项目中，家长与学生共同参与，培养学生责任感。寒假书单推荐倡导亲子共读，营造良好氛围。07#精彩活动校园生活的多元魅力

学院中心和学生会组织了丰富多彩的活动。中秋商业企划、学院运动会、万圣节多元文化体验、冬日歌会等活动，激发学生创意思维，增强团队协作。社团活动如运动联赛、生日会、国际美食节等，营造了团结友爱的校园文化，让每一位学生都感受到归属感和幸福感。此外，音乐剧《玛蒂尔达》受邀参演，彰显了学生全面发展的实力。

08#公益行动用爱心回馈社会

公益行动一直是MIS学生回馈社会的重要方式。感恩节期间，学生们为流浪动物保护中心捐款捐物；课余时间，积极参与流浪动物护理。冬日歌会&慈善芭莎活动为四川省肿瘤医院儿童中心送去关爱，展现了学生的社会责任感。2024 年，我们在多元探索中全面发展，收获了丰硕的成长与进步；2025 年，我们心怀憧憬，怀揣着对未来的热忱与期待，一起去创造无限可能。See you soon！
