Topic: HometownQuestion 1: Where are you from?Well, I"m from a city called Manchester, which is in the northwest of England. It"s probably the second largest city in England after London. London is definitely the biggest, and that"s where I grew up. And yeah, I"m quite happy to be from Manchester.Question 2: Is your hometown a big city or a small city?I"d say Manchester"s a fairly big city. I think the population is around about 2 to 3 million if you include the metropolitan area. And it"s starting to have a big city feel to it. It didn"t always have the feeling of a big city. Again, it still really doesn"t feel like an enormous metropolis like London, but it"s moving more in that direction.Question 3: Do you like your hometown?Yeah, I do like Manchester in most regards. Like, the weather is famously not great. It rains all the time. It"s known as kind of the rain capital of the UK, so that part isn"t great. But there"s a lot of, like, interesting things to do and good restaurants to eat in, and it"s developing all the time. So, yeah, I like it more and more, I"d say.Question 4: Is your hometown a good place to visit?Well, it depends, really. I mean, in winter, I would say not, because it gets pretty cold and it rains and it"s grey, so it"s not very nice to visit in winter.
