Topic: A Job You Would Like to DoPart 2 (Cue Card): Describe a job you would like to do.You should say:● What it is● Why you want to do it● If you know someone who does it● And if you will actually do itWell, the job that I"d quite like to do in the future, I think in the quite distant future, to be honest, is to look after homeless dogs or dogs that have been abandoned. Now, that could either be by working in an animal shelter or perhaps running my own shelter.My absolute dream scenario is that I, you know, become extremely rich, I win the lottery or something, and then I"m able to buy a nice country house with very big gardens and fields and be able to host those, those stranded or abandoned dogs there.I don"t know if that actually will happen. Who knows if I"ll win the lottery? But I think it"s something that I"d like to do because I really feel, I feel very sorry every time I hear stories about dogs being abandoned or dogs being mistreated because I myself have always had dogs and I love dogs.I think dogs are amazing pets, amazing, loyal animals. And the idea that people can mistreat them absolutely horrifies me. I find it repugnant. So I would love to be able to contribute in some small way to looking after and giving a better life to those dogs who have been mistreated.In terms of whether I know someone who does that, I don"t know anyone who does exactly that, but I do know people who work with dogs. My mother-in-law, for example, works with dogs every day and she loves her job. She, like, jumps out of bed every morning and is very excited to go to work because she also is absolutely obsessed with dogs.And whether or not I"ll actually do it, I think we"ll have to wait and see. I can"t imagine that it"s an extremely lucrative job. I can"t imagine it"s very well paid. It"s more of kind of an emotionally rewarding position.
