They approach learning with curiosity and a spirit of inquiry, following social etiquette and possessing the ability to collaborate with others. MIS students maintain individualized development in their learning processes, exploring the essence of things, reasoning, and substantiating arguments, and deepening their knowledge through various forms of discovery, investigation, and research methods. They apply their academic knowledge to practical situations; MIS students" learning process is a self-exploration and self-actualization process. How do MISers learn and live? Let"s take a look at the highlights of last week.↓↓↓Exciting Event Review1Monday Noon Assembly Date: March 31Hosted by Curie House
▲Announcement of the Top Three Students in the House"s Weekly Individual Points StandingsPrincipal Speech by Ms. HermioneThis week marks the first week of April. I hope you will take a moment to review and reflect on the experiences of March. Over the past month, you have gained knowledge and grown, but you have also encountered challenges and confusion. However, no matter what, these experiences are valuable assets. As we welcome April, let us continue to embark on our study tour to Guangzhou with a passion for learning and a spirit of continuous exploration. Today, I would like to share and emphasize three important learner qualities that constitute our learning community—timely reflection, resilience, and curiosity.Firstly, let us begin our field trip with empathy and critical thinking. In learning and communication, listening always precedes speaking. Before sharing your own views, please strive to understand diverse perspectives and persist in listening to others. This will not only broaden our horizons but also help us build deeper connections in our interactions. At the same time, I hope that if you encounter problems and difficulties in practical courses, you can apply the "3C Principles"—maintaining Composure, effective Communication, and seeking Consultation from teachers and mentors. This will enable us to face challenges more calmly. In your interactions with classmates, choose topics and partners that promote mutual growth, turning social challenges into opportunities for development. Every exchange and collaboration is a chance for us to learn and improve. When facing obstacles in research topics or disputes within a team, please try to first accept the emotions involved, then develop an executable plan, and conduct a holistic reflection. During course learning, remember to record the highlights, challenges, and new inspirations of each day. These records will serve as evidence of your growth.I would also like to emphasize that we hope you will adopt a deep learning attitude rather than a superficial one. Before we set off, use your spare time to familiarize yourselves with the characteristics of the courses and attend practical courses with questions and thoughts in mind. Set off with a scholar"s heart. The focus of this field trip is on immersive learning experiences and your firsthand learning experiences. Please always maintain your unique insights and viewpoints. Bring your curiosity, leave room for unexpected discoveries, and remember that as lifelong learners, we are always curious and interested in knowledge.MIS Reading CoursesDates: Every Monday to Thursday
