Students, do you know that Children"s Day is not just a joyful occasion for you; it is also an important opportunity for us to reflect on and focus on children"s rights and development. We have the right to education, to a safe home, to a happy childhood, and to support and care as we grow. However, we must also recognize that many children around the world are still fighting for these basic rights. Therefore, today, we must not only celebrate but also take action to extend our love to those children in need.This week, MIS will conduct a series of special activities. On one hand, we will organize student representatives from the Student Union to visit the oncology hospital and the children"s welfare home to deliver the gifts we have carefully prepared for the children there. IB-PYP Assembly: Grade 4 Entrepreneurship Launch: Angel Investment RoundDate: May 29During this week"s IB-PYP Assembly, Grade 4 students launched their "Angel Investment Round" with a creative and enthusiastic entrepreneurship event. This activity is closely aligned with the Grade 4 Unit 6 inquiry theme, "Economic Activities and Natural Environment Interact and Restrict Each Other," and integrates the IB PYP transdisciplinary theme "How We Organize Ourselves." It aims to cultivate students" responsible action, sustainability awareness, creativity, and ethical decision-making skills.
MIS-IB Beverage Shop Course (Mathematics)Date: May 30This Friday, Grade 4 students integrated the sixth UOI (Unit of Inquiry) theme—economic activities—with the mathematics theme of business planning and decimal operations, conducting a market sales activity with teachers as customers.
MIS International Children"s Day Charity InitiativeDate: May 28-29As International Children"s Day approached, the MIS Student Government visited 19 children at Chengdu Oncology Hospital and 200 children at Chengdu Children"s Welfare Home on May 28-29 (Wednesday-Thursday), bringing heartfelt care and gifts on behalf of our school community. Following recommendations from hospital doctors and welfare home staff, we had carefully selected eco-friendly daily necessities and nutritious food items. These thoughtful gifts aimed to bring warmth, hope, and extra joy to the children"s celebration.

IB-PYP 主题集会：G4创业发布会：天使投资轮时间：5月29日在本周的 IB-PYP 主题集会中，四年级的学生们以一场充满创意与热情的创业发布会，开启了他们的“天使投资轮”活动。这一活动紧密围绕四年级第六单元的探究主题：“经济活动与自然环境相互制约、相互影响”，并结合了 IB PYP 的跨学科主题“我们如何组织自己”，旨在培养学生们的负责任行动、可持续性意识、创造力以及道德决策能力。
MIS-IB饮品店课程（数学）时间：5月30日周五，G4学生将UOI第六单元主题：经济活动与数学主题——商业策划与小数运算相结合，开展了一场以老师为顾客的市场售卖活动。
MIS六一国际儿童节公益活动时间：5月28-29日在六一国际儿童节到来之际，MIS学生会于当周周三和周四（5月28日-29日）代表全校师生，为成都肿瘤医院的19位儿童以及成都市儿童福利院的200位儿童送去了诚挚的慰问与关怀。根据肿瘤医院医生和儿童福利院老师的建议，我们精心准备了绿色健康的生活用品及食品，希望通过这些贴心的礼物，为孩子们带去温暖与希望，让他们的六一儿童节更加欢乐、充满爱。
