The beauty of meditation is that I can do it anywhere, anytime. Actually, it does not require a significant amount of time, just 15-20 minutes are more than enough. Also, it is very simple to do. I just need to seat relaxed and focus on my breath and concentrate on my inner self. Honestly speaking, I have tried several ways of improving my health, including mild sports like jogging and intensive activities like playing tennis. However, meditation has been proved to be the most effective way which is wholesome but not demanding. All I have to do is to hold a pose and control my breath, and it helps me to have a sound sleep. I feel full of vim and vigor after practicing it. Since I try to relax my body and mind during the meditation session, it helps me gain more positive energy to work better.Part 31.How do children and old people keep fit and healthy?There are a lot of differences. In terms of exercising, kids prefer to do intense sports such as basketball and football to build up their physique. However, the elderly people would do some mild exercise, such as doing yoga or Tai-chi. Regarding the dietary habits, both age groups would eat some organic food to have more protein and vitamin intake. And from time to time, they would splurge on the expensive tonics to help them recharge their batteries. 2.What do people normally do to keep fit and healthy in your country?Normally people in the urban areas would pay a lot of money to enroll on the membership of a fitness club or gym. They would do some workouts after work, running on the treadmills and soaked up in sweat. But in the rural areas, I guess people normally do some activities related to nature. They would go fishing to breathe the fresh air and go swimming in the rivers and lakes. It costs no money but it"s wholesome as well. 3.How can parents help and guide their kids to keep healthy?There are a lot of ways to tackle this. For starters, parents could set up the role models by doing some wholesome activities themselves so that the children will imitate their behaviors unconsciously. On top of that, parents can instill the importance of health into their children in the long term by having some lectures regarding healthy dietary habits to their children, which could raise the awareness of the kids. 4.Do you think it is a good way for governments to use the popular celebrities to help build health awareness?I think it will be of little avail, because mostly the idols are fancied by the youngsters who are juvenile and naive. For most grown-ups, the power of the idols have already faded away. When the celebrities advocate a lifestyle or endorses a healthy product, it"s just another piece of news instead of some mind-blowing tidings. You will feel the urge to keep healthy when your health is already at stake, not when you watch some advertisements with the celebrities chanting the slogans.
