在某些行业，如制造业，为了保障员工的安全(safety)和生产的品质(the quality of production)，着装标准是必须的(mandatory)。如在食品工厂中，为减少细菌(germs)，保障食品品质，手套(gloves)是必须的。在建筑工地(construction site)和医院(hospital)中，个人防护装备是必须的(personal protective equipment), 如防护服(protective clothing), 头盔(helmet), 和护目镜(goggles)

In some industries, e.g. manufacturing, certain guidance regarding the dress codes is required in order to ensure the safety of employees and the quality of production. For example, in a food factory, gloves are mandatory as they protect the quality of food by reducing germs (Eagle, 2017). Jobs in construction sites and hospitals come with the need for personal protective equipment — i.e., protective clothing, goggles, helmets, and other safety equipment (The Wood Companies, 2019).

特种制服的一些弊端和解决办法

In workplaces that are frequented by clients who expect their counselors to exhibit professionalism and integrity, the dress is often formal. This includes law offices, financial consulting firms, banks, and some large businesses (HEATHFIELD, 2020).
