The initial 3 steps involve the collection of rain water. As the roof is designed to be pitched, the rainfall will flow down the roof to the drain when it is raining. Once collected, the steam is piped through the water filter which removes the dirt in the liquid, before being stored in the storage tank.

The subsequent 2 stages are related to water cleanse, which mainly involves chemical purification means. By adding bags of chemicals, such as medicine and chlorine during the water treatment, the rain drops will eventually be purified into the water available for drinking, after which it will be transported through pipelines to every home and citizens can access the water directly from the taps.
