Well, I don’t read history a lot, or you can say I’m not a fan of history study, but, I want to know something about Chinese Economic Reform more. It started from 1980s, till now, 40 years? more or less. The reason I want to learn it more is, when I was in high school, history teacher didn’t say a lot, or I guess, the test didn’t cover too much about it. The basic thing is, Chinese Economic Reform focused on market economy, and the whole economic system changed. I’m curious about quite a lot of details in it, like tax, company ownership, real estate, and so on. My parents told me that before the reform, people in this country couldn’t buy the things that they wanted to buy, but everyone had to follow the local government’s command to buy necessities. For example, in a certain period, let’s say a month, one person could only buy about 12 kilograms of food, and they had to pay food tickets, but not cash. You see, the reform brought huge changes to the country, and I would like to explore the internet, read books, or listen to some lectures about this big reform history.
