口语,对于大多数中国学生来说,并不是个简单的科目。由于学英语习惯的关系,很多同学也许英语语法、单词都很不错,唯独到了开口说英语的时候,老是觉得很困难。因此,由于对英语口语备考的了解有限,在复习雅思口语时也会陷入误区。
用词用句高级得分就会高
雅思口语的评分细则里虽然对遣词造句有要求,但是,有些同学也许就会觉得,既然有要求,那为了考得好,我一定要用那些“高级”的单词和句型,才能让考官记住我!其实这样做非但不能帮你考好,反而有时会拖了你的后腿哦。雅思口语考试里有两条细则都关乎我们的日常词句语法积累:Lexical resource和Grammatical range accuracy。不过,这不代表盲目用高级词句就能取得高分。举个例子,口语7分对高级词汇的要求是resource flexibly used to discuss a variety of topics和some ability to use less common and idiomatic items,对于语法则是a range of structures flexibly used,可以见得,就算是7分口语,雅思考察更多的是使用不同词汇语法的灵活性,而不是使用高级词汇语法的数量
我们要摆脱这个误区,就得明白准确用语的重要性。生僻词、高难度语法能用吗?能,但同学们一定要量力而行,且一定要思考好这个单词或语法用在语境里是否真的合适。记住,准确合适永远是能帮我们清晰表达的第*要义,盲目使用高级词句,很容易弄巧成拙~
刷完口语题库就能考好
雅思口语是有题库的,题库的存在尤其可以帮我们复习到一些我们不太擅长说的话题。正因如此,有些同学觉得备考口语就是单纯刷题库的过程,刷完了题库就能考好了,这也是一个常见的误区哦
雅思口语备考,刷题库是避不开的一环。因为只有落实到具体的题目上,同学们才能*真实地在备考过程中还原这场考试。因此,题库要刷,且要好好刷,尤其是将那些容易出现的但自己说不好的话题做好标记,多多复习,积累素材,才能保证我们发挥出色。但是,大家都知道雅思口语涵盖了很多话题,日常生活、音乐电影、教育、社会发展等等,可以说你想得到的话题,都有可能在雅思口语里出现。像part 1大概会有40个话题,part 2则大概会有60个,由part 2衍生到part 3的问题也会更多,因此这么大的题库数量,我们千万不能抱着刷完整个题库的心态去备考,因为一来这样非常耽误时间且效率很低,二来口语的考察是很灵活的,同学们如果想着背好模板上考场,且不说能不能全部记住,如果考官发现你在背模板而不是自己说,那可就完啦!所以同学们一定记住,刷完题库不代表高分就有了
回答No容易被打低分
也许是因为教育思维的不同,很多同学觉得,在口语考试里回答no,表达自己和考官提问的相反的观点,会给考官留下不好的印象,分数也不会高。但其实,同学们大可不必这么想,相反如果你用这样的思维备考,反而会限制了你的想法,有些本来可以变得很出彩的回答都没机会展示出来了
雅思口语鼓励同学们遵从自己的内心想法回答问题,所以,无论考官问你什么,也无论你回答的是Yes还是No,只要你说得有逻辑、流畅清晰,都是能被考官认可的好答案。我们也可以参考前文图中的雅思口语评分标准,四项要求里,没有一项是对同学们回答时的立场提了要求的。因此同学们大可不必觉得考官问什么问题,自己都要同意,不能提出与之相悖的观点。这样是会限制你的思维,从而进一步限制了你的之路哦~因此,同学们在备考时,对于怎么回答问题,其实只要真实合理地表达自己的想法就好,无论是什么,只要言之有理,在考官那里都是好答案。同时,这个常见误区也让小编想多说一句,同学们要诚实地对待雅思考试,就算考试时你真的不太了解那个问题,感到难以回答,你也可以诚实告诉考官,就像下面这句话所说的语气一样:To be honest, I don't know how to answer this question because, well, maybe my experience is limited. But personally speaking, I agree/disagree that……看~就是这么简单,即使你说了你不知道,但你的回答清晰、逻辑合理,同时也让考官感受到了你的真诚,考官根本不会因为你的回答立场如何而扣分哦。所以同学们在备考口语时,不要陷进这个误区啦
考官打断我就一定代表考砸了
不少同学上考场前都会看看同学们分享的考试经验,也会知道有些考官会时不时打断考生的回答,这就让同学们有些担心,是不是我被打断了,就代表考官不喜欢我的回答,我这次考试基本就“凉凉”了
雅思考试有时间限制,你的每次作答考官都会看着时间,毕竟这是考试不是闲聊,考官需要限制你的时间。比如,有时候同学们在part 1可能想再说一个例子,考官却打断了你,因为考官并不是觉得你说的不好,而是看见时间已经不太够了,得往下推进考试。又比如,有些同学在part 2或者part 3说得太过投入,停不下来了,奈何考试时间限制到了,考官也必须要打断你。这些情况下,其实考官打断你都不会是你考砸的预兆哦。小声说一句,有些考官其实习惯就是这样,习惯打断考生的回答,同学们也千万不要觉得这个考官一定会狠心给低分哦
但是同学们要注意,如果是因为你说的内容不太合适,或者你不知不觉说跑题了,比如考官问你喜欢的电影,介绍一下这部电影本身,你却在那里介绍去电影院看电影啊,和谁看啊,看完做了什么啊之类的,那考官想不打断你都难哦~所以,考官打断你不一定代表你考砸了,但是同学们也要分清楚,自己是因为时间限制被打断,还是因为自己说跑题了被打断。
