He is retired now, and he has, I think, a lot of time. He says he doesn"t have very much time. He always claims to be very busy, but I think he has a lot of time, and so he"s always very willing to help anytime I need anything.So, for example, recently I needed some help with the gate at the front of my house because the gate had broken, it wasn"t opening smoothly, it was catching on the bottom. And my dad isn"t an expert in gates, he"s not an expert in fixing things, but he"s very willing to come and have a try. And in the end, that"s the most important thing.So he came round. He came round the day after I asked him, so pretty quickly, and he helped me to figure it out. And to be honest, he did the lion"s share of the fixing. So yeah, he"s the kind of person who"s really, like, willing to help.In terms of how I know him, obviously he"s my dad, so I"ve known him for my whole life. And what does he do to help other people? I mean, he"s always going around and offering his time and giving people a lift in his big car or helping people to move house. He"s known as a very helpful person.
