Part 3 (Discussion):Do you think reading is a good way to get to know other countries?Well, I think it"s, it"s better than nothing. I don"t think there"s anything quite as good as actually visiting another country and living in that country. Of course, just visiting and staying for one week and only doing the tourist things is also not a great way to understand a country. I think you have to live there and really kind of do a deep dive into that country and learn the language to know it properly.But anyway, back to the topic of books. I think books are a good starting point for understanding a country and understanding the important parts of the culture. But I think there"s a limit to how much you can learn just from a book.What are the advantages of working in an international company?Well, I think there"s a lot of advantages. The first one is the possibility of travel. So, you know, if you"re sent by your company to live in a different country in one of their other international offices for a year or two years, that"s an amazing way to, like, learn about that new country, visit that new country, and be paid at the same time.So that"s one advantage. And also, I think you just come into contact with a much wider range of people than you would if you were working for, say, a local company that was only based in your hometown.How does travelling abroad affect young people?Well, I think it affects them in a number of ways. It"s a great way to, like, as the old cliche goes, like, broaden your horizons and understand more about different cultures. It"s also a great way to meet new friends from your own country because when you"re, like, travelling abroad, and particularly for a long time, or if you"re living abroad, the people who you meet and become friends with are quite often not the people that you would necessarily spend time with if you"re in your hometown.But the fact of being abroad opens your mind to, like, spending time with different people who aren"t the old friends that you"ve known forever.
